The Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on December 28th at the Nishat Hotel, was more than just a formal meeting; it was a unique celebration of Focusteck’s outstanding history and goals for the future.
The gathering brought together Focusteck’s partners, employees, and leadership to celebrate the company’s achievements and reflect on the future.
The evening was full of optimistic, emotional speeches that perfectly reflected the vitality of Focusteck’s journey. Each speech was more than just a message; it explained the passion and commitment that has driven Focusteck’s success over the last years.

A Warm Welcome to Focusteck’s AGM 2024 and 10th Anniversary
The event began with a lively host, Aiten Tanveer, happily welcoming the audience, setting the right tone for the evening. “This year is extra special as we celebrate 10 years of growth, success, and plenty of coffee!” she said. Aiten then added a touch of respect to the evening by requesting Mr. Abdullah to recite the Holy Quran.
Sahar from HR delivered an exciting introduction statement that created an environment for what was sure to be an unforgettable evening and filled the audience with excitement.
Sahar highlighted the struggles, important events, and the team’s constant commitment that brought Focusteck to its current state.
Our journey: From a small beginning to global impact
Mubarak Ahmed, Assistant VP of Cloud Services, took the stage following Sahar’s speech to discuss Focusteck’s development and achievements during the previous ten years. Speaking with passion, Mubarak discussed Focusteck’s development from its early struggles to its rise in the IT sector.
Senior Software Engineer Arslan Ali inspired the team with his words about Focusteck’s bright and exciting future. He presented his own experience at Focusteck, reflecting on his achievements, struggles, and important lessons learnt along the road. Arslan expressed sincere thanks to our visionary CEO, Sir Adil, whose advice has played an important part in developing his career. His story not only highlighted his achievements but also inspired the team to keep pushing ahead, accepting challenges and new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Celebrating Excellence: A Night of Recognition and Celebration
The Workplace Stars Awards were one of the AGM’s favorite attractions. These awards are Focusteck’s way of recognizing the different personalities and talents that make the workplace unique. The awards ceremony recognized everything from humor and timeliness to dedication and teamwork and included awards such as the Early Bird Award, Always Hungry Award, and Fitness Freak Award.
The staff was excited to cheer for their colleagues who had made an impression with their colorful personalities and hard work.
Jahangir, the senior HR representative, and Mubarak, the Assistant VP of Cloud Services, presented the awards, making sure that each winner felt valued. These humorous but important awards caught the spirit of Focusteck’s work culture—one that is encouraging.

The Focusteck Excellence Awards were the evening’s highlight. Arooba hosted this special segment, which honored people who have made important contributions to the company. The awards recognize employees who always go above and beyond with their hard work and dedication.
We were privileged to have Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar, Vice Chancellor of Qarshi University, as the event’s chief guest. Dr. Sarwar, a distinguished academic, holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. His illustrious career includes impactful roles at premier institutions like the University of Punjab, Lahore, LUMS, and UMT.Adding to the grandeur of the evening, Mr. Malik Asif Ali, CEO of Urban Properties, and Mr. Kashif Fateh Dad, CIO of Alfaisal Holding, Qatar, graced the event as special guests. Mr. Malik Asif Ali presented shields to Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar and Mr. Kashif Fateh Dad, symbolizing their significant contributions and support to the AGM and 10th Anniversary.
